Get it turbocharged. Might cost you a bunch, but it will be fast. Forget the exterior upgrades. Maybe get better performance wheels, and full exhaust upgrades. A turbo would work wonders with that.

Turbo charge the Civic. If I ever choose a VW, the GTi is the best. There are tons of turbo kit for the Civic, but your car probably won't pass SMOG.
