Is a four pixple pipeline difference extreme? Same with 100mhz core clock?

yeh u will most likely get much better fps with the 7600gt which would make game play "silky smooth" now im not really trying to get u to spend more money...i just want u to be happy with the video card u get and the 7600gt is just that much better...also if u are getting it get teh eVGA one :)

also has a rebate right now...go for it:)

Yeah, but if I was confident I wouldnt be here now would I :p

Hahaha, well... Thats insane like what 580mhz core? Hmm.. But wont the 12pipelines hold back the performance of the core clock?

Nope the only thing limiting this card is the 128 bit interface but its faster than the 6800GS

Ok, so say then I get the GTO with the 500mhz core, and 12 pipelines. With 256 everything.

What would have more noticeable performance. 7600GT or the GTO?

The 7600GT beats it man by alot also its a 7 series it has all the new stuff SM 3.0 Open GL much more updated than the X800 dont let the 128 bit interface confuse ya its a powerfull card

Thats a good way of looking at it. Thanks man. I think ill try and go for that.

But while we are on the topic of this.. What about like, one these..

Because thats ATI's newline up. Just like the 7 series. So, im sure that its got all that new stuff too. And clock speeds just as high. Everything looks rather similar.

What are your thoughts on those?

Lol, thanks. Im glad there is someone that knows more then me here.. Or else id be dead in the water
