using computer as a phone?

i got it and it works!!! only 7 day trial though

i have an idea but it might not work. take one phone line and plug it in to your modem, then take a wired phone part and plug it in to the other one and there might be a dial tone, then just use your existing phone company to dial calls just as you would by using a regular phone.

gave what i said a try and tell me what happens, if anything. i might try that. it seems like it would work even if the computer is off.
