I don't know wheather thats good or not. It depends how she reacts to things like that usually.

I wouldn't text ask her out though. The best thing you can do is get her away from her mates and sit in a quiet spot, maybe by saying "I have something to say. Can we go somewhere more private?"

That'd be the best option.
