IMO I would go with a LCD. I have a 54" Hitachi LCD Ultravision Digital and I love it. The HD looks amazing, and even PS2 Progressive Scan games look tight. DVD's look great as well. I can't wail till Blue Ray launches this fall/winter. Plus with LCD's you don't have to worry about screen burn, and it runs much cooler than plasma's, and with plasma's you will get burn. I have had my TV 1.5 years and I haven't had 1 problem yet. LCD baby!

today at costco, i saw a 65 inch LCD (yes, lcd, not plasma) for $18,000 canadian.

um its for tv, and dont some of the newer plasmas have a screen burn control.

dlp>lcd>plasma actually dlp is digital light processor basically it fixes the picture and looks better. plus dlp goes to nice resolutions and are huge. and lcd pixels do burnout like plasmas.

yeah, sitting on computerforums too much burns the layout into my lcd screen

My brother has a nice.. like 50inch LCD. Crystal freakin clear. Although, you can get some nice huge plasmas. Although, the plasmas will cost you an arm and a leg.

The way I see it, LCD tv, becuase you can also have a really nice computer montiter if ever decided to try that
