Temperature Survey

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (stock speeds)

CPU Fan - 4500RPM

Case Fan - 6000RPM

Room Temp - 23C

CPU Temp Idle - 24-27C

CPU Temp Load - never seen it go above 36C

According to my front panel sensor and fan controller, I get

CPU: 44.7C (Moslty not, since the sensor doesn't sit on top of the CPU
HDD: 40.4C
CASE: 36.2C
PSU: 40.2C

my pc is dust free and already has one fan in and one fan out.
My suggestion was extra fans to those you already have, giving you two in and two out, also consider a side panel mounted fan. The spindle of the fan should roughly be on the same centre line as the chipset for maximum effect. It is quite surprising how much extra cooling this provides for the cpu and m/board.

Oh yeah, forgot to post about the computer :p

Its like.. Hell, I dont know, whatever a Prescott runs.

Cooler morning here today :D

My temps based off of everest are
Mobo 30c 84f
CPU 35 C 95f
GPU 43 c 109f
HDD 31 c 88f

However my PC has been runing now straight fora bout 4 days haven't shut it off or anything, think i'm going give it a rest when I go to the gym. When my PC is first starting up my CPU temp is normally 30C or so but rises I guess because of heat in case etc but it rarely goes above 35c unloaded, Loaded it goes up to 45c

Those are safe operating temps for a AMD 3200 ? I think they are.
