intel mobo chipsets

LGA 775 (socket T) is the current socket. P4's are good, celerons USUALLY suck, and thats all I know.

oh, you said chipsets. I thought you ment the processor. Don't know a thing about chipsets.

He's talking about the chipsets that are on the motherboards. Like my motherboard has a Nforce 4 SLI chipset. I dont know anything about intel's chipsets, hopefully someone else can let us know.
 
Yeah, thats the newest one so thats what I would go with. Im sure there are people here that know a lot more about this then me though. I barely know anything about intel.
 
i975x are the best out right now. Then comes i965/i955x then the numbers go down like i945x and so on. Soon i985x is going to come out. Keep in mind that Intel motherboard are NOT cheap.
