when will notebook processors drop in price?

I have kinda been out of it for a while so i was wondering if anyone had a good guess or fact on when either the intel 32bit dual core processors or the turion processors will drop in price. I am looking to buy a notebook but if its gonna be a month and prices drop I will wait.

Depends. If you're waiting for the Core Duo to get cheaper, wait for the Merom core to be released or for AMD to release a updated Turion, then you might see some price drops.

It would be smart to buy it before Vista comes out wouldn't it? cos when it does all the hardware in current packaged desk/laptops will be upped to meet the standards set by vista, so a few months b4 its release all manufacturers would want to get rid of current stock. But beware this could be a double edged sword, even the beastiest of machines right now might have a little trouble with vista so u might see our current mid-range machines drop in price AFTER vista comes out...
