What's more important, video card memory or video card model.

For example: 256MB 6200 VS 128MB 6600

Also I have a 256MB 6200 with 1 GIG of RAM playing a Battlefield 2 on Medium.

Should I get more RAM or a better Video Card.

better video card. but what matters most is the clock speed and stuff of the video card, and the # of pixel pipelines

well, if anything, it would be preferable to get something with the best of both worlds, higher model number (more pixel pipelines) and more memory. I do believe that a 128MB 6600GT is better than your 256MB 6200 tho.

Oh by far. I've dealt with both cards personally. The 6200 is a horrible video card. Even a normal 6600 (non-gt) is faster.

Alright so model number is better.

Thanks everyone.

But for Battlefield 2 should I upgrade my RAM first or my video card?

Both if you can stretch your finances, video card first if you can't, though your swap file is going to take a hammering.

get the card first because you have enough ram
That's a debatable post, I have had BF2 top out at 730Mb of memory usage on full settings. Add to that the ram Windows uses and all background services and it adds up to more that 1Gb

..... they say sum of the drivers don't work well.

What do you guys suggest?
nVidia drivers are no where near as buggy as ATi drivers (I'm seeing lots of complaints about the latest Cat 6.4's) so you should be fine with the latest WHQL release drivers on the nVidia site.
