Hey guys this is the current hard drive i have.HERE I didnt realize that this hard drive would be so different when connecting them. My previous one had pins and this one i dont know the correct name for it but its like a flat chip they you slide the cable onto. Im not sure what cables to get to hook it up for my mother board, power supply, and cd rom. Any help would be much appreciated.

This is one of the cables i purchased with my Hard Drive. HERE
Does the connection for this come standard with all mother boards or did i just waste a bunch of money? Also how do i go about connecting it to the power supply and cd-rom.

Im sorry i also forgot to ask if i could get these parts at Comp USA or best buy. I dont feel like waiting for these to get it. Plus ill be paying as much for shipping as the cable itself. Already spent $500 upgrading my computer i dont want to spend anymore.

Yes you should be able to get them at those places, and your motherboard would need to support SATA. What kind of motherboard is it

Not too worried about the board i have now. I can just use my old hard drive until my new motherboard arrives. Can you point out exactly which other 2 cables i need for me.

P.S. Thanks alot for all your help i have to leave now
