new computer...need input.

no, windows sometimes puts it in incorectly, but i know for sure, that my GMA 900 is not stealing from my RAM.

hmm...now i'm kinda new into video cards but how bout the ram. shouldn't more be better, or do other things depend, i guess. i just want a good video card, and more ram, then i'll be set for some years.

for a video card under 120, its going to be hard to have it for a couple more years. If you want to keep it for a couple more years, you are going to have to spend a lot more to go for the ones on top. For video cards, more memory is always good, you want high clock speeds, high memory speeds, 256-bit memory interface, and lots of vertex shaders and pipelines.

If you want to keep it till college, you are going to need one hell of a video card and all top of the line parts. Really, 5 years in the computer tech age is a VERY long time. New things come out every year. And soon those parts will be obsolete.
