DVD Burner

Okay, I was looking around for a cheap DVD burner, does this look good?

It's in Canadian funds, so its cheaper in US funds or whatever.

I haven't converted it to USD so I don't know the actual price in comparison, but I basically have that same drive and it's been great. NEC probably has some of the top DVD Burners. About the only thing I don't like is that it's not compatable with DVD-RAM. Not many people use that, I know, but it's a great format...

I am not sure, but you could always look at Wal-Mart. they have a very good HP burner that I bought, and it has light-scribe on it. It was about $100 USD. I know you could probably have them ship it to you in Canada.

Also, its around $49 USD here for that burner you were looking at.

With shipping and whatnot, that burner from TigerDirect to my postal code costs $84.71. Do you think I could get it cheaper than that at Walmart or anything? It looks like a great price! (Shipping was about $20 and tax was about $11) canadian

Honestly, probably not. I got my HP DVD-R-RW because I like HP's reputation. NEC drives are good though too. Its really all up to you. But good luck whatever the case!
