SATA or S A T A?

It's just like SCSI :p I always just say the letters, on both. I mean that's how most things are. Are you going to start pronouncing IDE? CPU? HD? LCD? ^^ I guess about the only thing I pronouce, really, is RAM...

I say Scuzzy. It rhymes with fuzzy! :)

I'm with you there. I myself say SATA. Takes too much work to say S A T A (when you are a true nerd like me, you read each letter in the phonetic alaphabet... Sierra Alpha Tango Alpha)

Its professsional to say and write Serial-ATA

Doesnt say SATA does it? :p

This has made me realise how over-priced macs are, its a nice PC, but way over-priced.

i dont think it really matters....as long as the person your talking to is on the same page

SATA is an acronym. You say it as if it is a word. An Acronym = the first letter of each word. It's a heck of a lot easeir to say SATA than Serial Advanced Technology Attachment or SCSI than Small Computer System Interface!!
