Google search bar - how do I autofill?

On my home computer when I type words into the Google searchbar it populates with previous similar searches and saves me time.

It does not do this on my laptop - how can make it do this?

Right click on Internet Explorer then click properties, go to the advanced tab, and scroll down till you see use inline autocomplete, and put a check in that box and that should allow the autofill.

Anable to do it this was but did it via control panel and internet options. The inline autocomplete box was already ticked.

Any more advise would be appreciated.
