Hi all,
I have windows Xp home installed on a 120GB hard drive. So, yesterday I installed Suse Linux 10 in my other empty 80GB hard drive. Now I am writing from Linux. The problem is that I cannot enter windows now. When I open the computer, there is no option for selecting the OS. It starts in Linux. The only option is Linux Suse, floppy, Linux Suse safemode.
I would be really grateful if you could tell me how I can configure the boot in orfer to have as default the windows OS, but I will be able to choose at startup betteen windows, and Linux.
Also, as I read some instructions for Linux, the file grub.conf contains only this:
--------------------------------------
setup --stage2=/boot/grub/stage2 (hd0,1) (hd0,1)
setup --stage2=/boot/grub/stage2 (hd0) (hd0,1)
quit
--------------------------------------

Also, in YaST2 control center, at the partitioning option it says

Device Size Type Mount Start End
/dev/hda 74.5GB WDC-WD800JB-00CRA1 0 9728
/dev/hda1 1GB Linux Swap swap 0 130
/dev/hda2 73.5GB Linux native / 131 9728
/dev/hdb 111.7GB WDC-WD1200JB-00GVA0 0 14592
/dev/hdb1 111.7GB HPFS/NTFS /windows/D 0 14591
/dev/hdb2 7.8GB HPFS/NTFS /windows/E 14592 14592

Well, if you desperatly need to get into windows, change the boot sequance of your hard drives in bios, so that the 120GB Disk is your primary boot disk.
