Cleaning LCD screen

dont use windex. It ruins the anti-glare layer on your LCDs cuz it eats through it. I just wipe is down with a lint free cloth and thats it. There should be only dust on your LCD. You can also use warm water and a lint free cloth or coffee filter as it shouldnt scratch your screen. You may want to look into this too: http://www.overclockers.com/articles1201/

Thanks all for the suggestions, but i used a lint free cloth and it came clean, it was only dust.

There are cleaners out there that are made for that anti-glare stuff, like what I use on my glasses. But are you even sure that there's a coating over most LCDs? I mean just how the screens are made they usally don't have a glare. They usally don't scratch either. *shrugs* whatever...you guys can clean your screens how you want...I'm going to keep on using Windex
