i just got a geforce 6600gt (agp) video card and my power supply doesn't meet the requirements... my friend has a 350 watt power supply that he would give me, but first, i would want to know if a 350 watt power supply would power a geforce 6600gt, two harddrives, a cdrom drive and a usb 2.0 hub... that's about all that's in my pc... what do you think? will it be reliable?

I would say it SHOULD be ok. If it doesnt newegg.com will have a good deal on a 400watt ps for you.

It should be alright, correct..
How much is your current power supply where it is not enough to power all of those devices?

mine's a 200 watt... i thought that it was a 400 watt hehe...

i hope so... cause i had to return mine for another card because the older power supply couldn't handle it and the card shorted out and got messed up...

Im gonna have to agree too, i think 350W is enough. A 6600GT doesn't use a whole lot of power, not like the high end cards like the 7800 series or 1900 series(ATI).
