xiggy, if you're only going to be a moderate gamer, the 6600 isn't too bad. 128 mb of ram on the gpu is a good thing too. and it is pretty impossible to get everything for $100, but as i understand you just want the motherboard.

k guys i need help....help me find the best mother board with 478 pin...intel support...agp8x or pci xpress 16x....2+ ddr400 slots (or higher then ddr 400) for around 100 dollars...thx

With an extra 50 dollars or so, you could get a little better with the video card and RAM, but if you dont do alot of gaming, that might do.

The games would have to be on low settings though, and they would have to be games which dont require much...

k see i am willing to spend a lot more on teh video card so i might get a 6800....i just watn a good motherboard to do all teh stuff well...and i will spend a little on ram too...buy a 1 gb stick and later buy another so i can load and keep bf2 going and any new games to come...thx joxley

edit: also my geforce 5200 128mb is about the same thing as that so im looking for prolly a 6800....i saw an...asus 6800 512mb at newegg for 150 or so...might look into that...but thx joxley

Yeah, 2GB RAM seems to be in fashion at the moment, in the computing world that is.

Its a nice size to have - 3/4GB RAM is just mad, and 1GB is sometimes not enough.

But if you need any more help, you know where to come.
