Stock Conroe Super Pi 1M bench.

This is ridiculous, this has got to be the fastest time for a stock processor so far. And this isnt even top of the line.

Yeah I saw that earlier. That is just crazy. The world record is like 16 or 15 seconds right? Conroe should easily be able to beat that. I think my next desktop will probably be Intel if they keep this up.

I cant even get under 30 seconds with my 3700+ at 2.8ghz

my fastest time? With my AXP its like 45 seconds at 2.3Ghz. This is just a random run and untweaked with lots of stuff running in the background. But one i get a Conroe, ill be flying

Yeah, but those numbers actually mean nothing if the processor has 4MB of L2 cache at 1M SPI. If we really want to see great numbers, they should use 8M or 32M SPI and not 1M SPI.

I really want to see some 3DMark06 tests to see how it stacks up agianst the FX-60

Unfortunately, it is better.
It's unbelievable for a processor to completely own like that. I hope AMD finds an answer to Conroe and soon.
