Thats impressive, but have you seen this?!:

"The power company is building a 170 megawatt substation to support this and other ORNL projects."

Ouch.

thanks, kage, you answered my question! I was looking to see how much power it would take to run it. lol that is a lot!!

Thats an AWFUL lot...

I think the idea of the lower memory option is alot better, but PC's of this kind since they'll be running for each processor, may need that much.

I wonder then how much each PC will get, since it'll just be standard PC's but linked together in a network.

Hehe, you'd need video cards to boot.

Is the highest SLI config, 4 in a row?

I'm not sure, but I'd make a great 3D renderer if every PC had a workstation graphics card!!!

Might have to hack it, and take some processing resources from it :p
Haha, I'm joking, by the way. I can't hack and wouldn't hack in my life!

well for this comp i think nvidia should make an exception and make a mobo with 12 pci-express slots and put in like all 7900 gtx's lol, how insain would that be, just play like battlefield 2 whoa it would be CRAZY

That's pretty wild, I want one!! Then I would never leave my computer desk. I wonder if it also makes coffee.
