Well, the thing with most people is that their focussing all of AMD's efforts on the Socket AM2, which in reality is nothing. It's simply that, a new socket. It's just a different way to mount a CPU, and the motherboard is just using different RAM, in our case, DDR2. It's just a new Socket with a layout of 940 pins and nothing more. A Socket doesn't really bring anything new to the table other then new graphics chipsets and RAM. I honestly don't see all the hoo-haa about Socket AM2.
