saitek p2000 tilt pad

hey, im using my saitek pad to play n64 roms, and the problem is when i go to congfigure the controller to chose which buttons to what, as soon as i click to chose the button it instantly chooses the slider to do that job. i do not have eneough time to chose the button i want!!

does ne1 know how to disable it? or kill it? i was gona take it apart and remove electronics from that part??

Well, I know what the problem is, is that the slider is so sensitive it is always in the "on" position. Usually, with stuff like that, Windows thinks it is a button, so whenever it is moved, if only the tiniest amount, it will think it is "on". See if you can get it exactly centered, I've done that before.

cheers, i found out that i had to do with the tilt, i had to keep it vertical to work! even tho it said it was the slider!!
