USB blowout!!

Has anyone on this forum ever heard of a USB device, (D-Link bluetooth adapter) taking out all USB ports on a computer? I had just installed a DBT-120 and software when my computer shut down. When I powered it back up none of my USB ports would work. I've already been into control panel and devices to check my drivers. Is it possible they're all shorted out?

Try reinstalling all the usb drivers..

Sorry, first time on this site. Have to learn my way around.
I tried deleting then reinstalling the drivers. Didn't work. Windows tells me they are working. One computer repair shop says I may have to replace the motherboard. Does this sound reasonable to anyone?? Seems like the ports have been physically damaged but I can't tell anything visually. Anymore suggestions?

Try a system restore to before you installed the usb blue tooth device...

Tried that too! Still no luck.

Take out the BLuetooth hardware and see afterwards if they work. If not, then...

i have the same problem' well it seems the same.
i was using the psp.. pluged in the usb for the first time. and my computer freeze, and i had to restart... after it came back on all of usb stoped working, yet the computer said its all working fine.. 'nothings works so far..
