Does anyone know the standard watt for the PSU in a Compaq Presario SR1309RS

Do a google search, you should be able to pull something up.

I don't think it's that much. Knowing Compaq and your specs, they probably put a 350watt power supply in there.

Should be written right on the psu, take the side panel off and look.

It's not my comp, I'm trying to find out for a friend online. He doesn't know much about comps, and he's on the other side of the country. I can't exactly look at his system. He's trying to get a new GPU and the one thats decent for his range says it requires a 300w PSU. I just want to make sure he has it.

well tell him to take the side of the case off and look, it's the only way to be absolutely sure, besides, it's only usually 2 screws to take off the side panel.
