Re: Gallery: You're Car
It was in 03 when I bought that car. I was comparing the Nissan Sentra SE R, Honda Civic, and the Toyota Corolla at the time. Nissan had a great motor and very powerful. Potent. I liked it a lot, but research on the Toyota Corolla was astonishing. Their line of TRD components and especially the supercharger impressed me enough to get the Corolla. Those cost I spend on TRD parts and the MSRP sticker price of the car at the time was just under $20,000 excluding my financing fees of course. That add to the cost.
The new Civic has more horsepower than what my Corolla can put out, but I have way more torque which gives me a better launch. The problem with my car at launch is wheel spin. They do make a TRD LSD for my trans-axles, but they cost like $900 for a set.
Still, I would gladly take the Civic Si. Best NA vehicle I've seen by any manufacturer that cost around $20,000.
