Remote Desktop

ok I was tyring to use remote desktop to connect to the computer right on front of me becuase i was experimenting ut it wouldnt work, so I looked at the services their is one called Netmeeting Remote Desktop sharing, but I coudlnt start it because it said that Performance logs and alerts (plaa) service was disabled so i go and try to enable this plaa but it wont let me... what the heck

They have to be directly connected through a network. They can't just be on the internet. I've never gotten it to work either tho, and I don't know how you set it up, maybe it was a direct network, so I really don't know.

I beleive they need to be directly connected to each other through a router, or just directly with eithernet (sp) cords.
