turning javascript on?...

i tried to view a video on youtube and i got a error that said "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player, click here to get the latest flash player., i have the latest flash player anyone know how to turn javascript on?

not sure, but i think this is how you turn the javascript on....... in i.e. go under "tools", then "internet properties", "security", under the internet choice click on custom, scroll towards bottom under scripting heading, and enable scripting of java appelets......
