Hello

There is a forums in which i'm quite frequent. Until now i was sure i'm totaly anonymus, but I found out that the forums manager can track all messeges sent from my ip (i.e - if i posted a msg as guest, and not as my regular user, he can tell that it was sent from my ip). Is there any way to prevent it?
Thank You!

um well i'm not sure. i know with zone alarm you hide ur ip address when possible. idk if this time is possible or not but eather way.... um...when u send a message from your pc your ip has 2 be recived really...but u can prevent it from being a bad thing. thats mostly what a firewall is for.

But even if you did use a proxy cant they still get your real ip?
Static or whatever?

By the way, zone alarm doesn't hide your ip. It only does so when connecting to the ZONE ALARM server. ;)
Wow, smart one, didnt know that, whats the point of that then?

So when you are say sending your user report to Zone Labs your identity will not be revealed I guess.
