well i think, i'll let my mate do it, hes better with laptops than me, i can only workinside towers.

Are you sure that your power cord is functional? Are you sure your battery is working?

well the power cord when i put an elctrical screwdriver on the end it lights up so im guesing its going down. and the battery never worked anyway i run it off the mains. and wen i press the battery tester button, it lights up.

I bet your PSU died. The battery and cord depends on it.
