Hi, can anyone help. I want to do a full format of my son's hard drive. I have changed the bios so that it boots from the cd drive but still it will not load the xp disc. It reads the disc after windows loads and I can put on a new copy of xp. He now has 3 copies of xp on it. It is a packard bell pc, when I boot from the cd it still comes to the same menu on screen giving me the option of pressing tab to load windows or F2 to go to setup but will not go to the format screen. Hope someone can help. Thanks

pc got a floppy drive? you could make a boot disk. you could also install xp again whilst in windows but do a clean install (might not let you install it in windows though)
