Ok is their any way to make it so that every time I restart my computer or turn it on it will run a chkdsk?
Edit:in Windows xp pro

yes, don't remember how to do it right now, I'll be back soon :)

okay, can't remember. U should be able to open cmd with using task scheduler (u can find this from the control panel) but then I'm not sure how to make it execute chkdsk. Try opening the tasks (the cmd one) properties and then writing something like "chkdsk c: /F". in the path (leave the path there is alone and write the chkdsk thingy after it)
And write the "" there too, and of course replace c and /F with the ones u want to use.

Or then just write "chkdsk.exe" and see what happens

Just put the chkdsk program into the start up folder in your taskbar. It will automatticly start when your comp boots up.
