Does the fact that one of my ram sticks is pc2700 and the other pc2100 mean any thing? Will it mess up anything? like my computer says 512mb but idk... and every thing has been fine

your computer will just run at PC2100 instead of PC2700, there will be a performance drop, but no damage done.

rofl yea, it'll run at the slower ram's clock speed. and i got an issue that we could bring ^ in this thread since it deals with ram speed. i put in a stick of ddr400 (pc3200) in my computer and the clock speed is running at 200MHz, i don't know how 2 change it and can't find anything in my bios to change it eather...

Its a bitch when that happens - you have 2 or 3 really nice, fast sticks, and you add another one in, and its dead slow! So all of those really nice fast RAM is now slow, and crap.

TO answer your question, no, it does not matter. I am running one 512MB PC2100 stick, and one 512MB PC2700 stick, it shows up as 1024MB of RAM, and it performs just fine. :)
