SUPER Budget Computer Project

think you would be better off actually buying a computer already built for that price. I know I see $300 computers in the Best Buy and Circuit City ads a lot. Prebuilt would be a lot better for your price range.
 
autocad on linux? not too sure about that...but for an overall linux distro...i dont believe you have used one as you are asking for suggestions...i suggest Ubuntu. but dude...you are going to have to get used to it...and NO GAMES!
