DVD Burning Software

I use Apollo DVD Copy.

I'm trying to burn .avi files onto dvd-r's so I can watch some on my dvd player, will the programs metioned above help?

.avi files? Have you tried just using Windows Media Player 10? I use Sonic DigitalMedia Plus, Nero, and Roxio Easy Media Creator.

I like Roxio. I used it several times when Nero went out on me. Nero is ok, but it has it's faults. So far, all my projects using Roxio has been perfect without a problem.

I just use Nero 7 Ultra Edition. Got it for free, so I can't complain.

I'm having problems with Roxio, I get the error messege "Unspecified error [0x80004005]" when I'm trying to burn
Also, when I try and add an avi. file it saids that the media cannot be edited so it hasn't been added.
Basically I can't add movies to the compliation list, and when I try and compile I get the error mentioned above

New to Roxio, so any help is appreciated
