My computer that I just finished building won't turn on completely...

uh oh....when i turn it on nothing pops up on the screen

and my hard drive isnt doing anything....i dont think i have all the nessessary cords for it...i only have a red sata cord no power cord because there isnt a hookup for it

oh, and those plug/wires to get power to ur cd/hard drives is called legacy

it turns out that 5 need power adapter for my hard drive then im all set

So you fixed it? Check your jumper settings, set them all to CSA or w/e it's called. The one that chooses it itself.

its not the hard drive, hard drives only need need the red sata cord, well atleast thats all mine uses.

No, you also need a power cord. Even for sata

yea i need the power cord, but theyre like $5 @ circuit city and im too impatient to order it online..... but thats all i need thanks for all your help
