My computer that I just finished building won't turn on completely...

ok i tried another p/s and it did the same thing so it must be the mobo or bad connecting

For some reason when I turn on my computer (press the on button) the on light turns on and everything turns on for a fraction of a second and then turns back off but the on light remains on, I don't know wether it's the motherboard, the power supply is bad or I didnt hook something up correctly.

Sane thing happened to me, turned out a small metal piece ( a screw) was touching the motherboard. Make sure no metal is touching it. Also, if that doesn't work by a new power supply. I highly doubt it's bad ram, most likely if you;re using a power supply that came w/ the case then that's the problem.

Hmm.. Ok.. Well then your not trying to use power that you dont have.. So... I guess try Hunters Idea. Cause I have no idea..
