my router is blocking email?

i just bought a Network Everywhere router from Walmart (http://www.networkeverywhere.com/products/nr041.asp). I used the start up disc that came with it and everything is in working order, except my email. i have SBC yahoo dsl email and msn messanger. i cant sign into msn messanger at all, and when i can only go as far as my in-box on the SBC. if i try to click on any of the emails in my inbox a "page cannot be displayed" page after ten minutes of waiting.

any step by step instructions on how to fix this would be helpful.

does that router have a built in firewall...Im guessing so...SBC is pop3 isnt it?

POP3 - port 110
SMTP - port 25
