Alright now I originally ended up wanting to spend about 700 but now this totals up to about 1020$ with shipping and what not so that might be the best I can do... However I sitll have no speakers and the only option I has was to shave off the ram to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146524
Because I would like to get some decent speakers with this new comp... Nothin fancy.. So yes finnally I think im done putting this together once I get the price and the speaker deal fixed... Any and all input is appriciated

ok i think u should go with an AMD system since u do play some intensive games (bf2), i recommend a motherboard from either ASUS or DFI, stay away from ABIT because theyre not so good at the moment, the cpu u get depends on your budget i would try for at least a 3200+ but try to get a 3500+, for ram i would get something from either OCZ or corsair and as for the rest of it i wouldnt change anything

See I had an amd system built. But my friend who is a hardcore gamingis a huge intel fan. And he didnt just go through reviews on newegg every single item on there he reaed reviews from various sources on each one. I think alot of people who say go amd are just sayin it cause everyone else says it... Or I could be totally wrong who knows xD. MY last asus board only lasted me a year

i've got an ASUS board and although i've only had it for a week now it runs great! as far as ur stuff goes i love the intel cpu, and the sata hardrive is great but i would downgrade that a bit and go with higher ram, perferable corsair XMS but the ddr667 in XMS i believe is expensive. i would think u'd probably be happy with 200 or 250 gigs like i have for storage, but stick with sata 3.0....well idk i didn't seem 2 find any XMS that were that good but idk *shrugs*

Well I knew I wouldnt use 300g when I bought it... But when I looked at smaller harddrives, there wasnt a big difference in the price range.. And that particular recieved excellent reviews from multiple sources (besides newegg)

So besides the fact that most of you like amd more then intel... No one has any horrible story of these particulars frying and what not? (abit not included >_<) I know replying to this thread is like kicking a dead horse but im buying it tomorrow and I just want to make sure xD. If you consider this spamming them im sorry

Everything looks good to me, although I went with BFG simply because of the Life Time Warranty. The only suggestion I can think of.

This card is a little bit better, and at the same time a bit more expensive, but worth it for a BFG card.

Core Clock 580 Mhz
Memory Clock 1450 Mhz

Only thing I can see that's negative is the 128 bit memory, instead of the 256 bit memory.

Just a suggestion.
