Hey.

...You guys are always helpful so, once again, i'm asking for help.

My Dad just rang and said he'll get me some RAM with an order he's putting in at misco.co.uk...But, i have NO idea what to get.

I have an ASUS A8N-E Motherboard and play a lot of games...So, what's good.

Need to know before 5pm and want to make sure i make the right decision, that's only 25 mins!

Thanks

Well, it depends on how fast your processor is, but you can't go wrong with 2+ gigs of RAM. If the processor is up-to-date and fast, then 1 gig might be enough, but you can get two 1 gig sticks (so 2 gigs total) for pretty cheap. Just make sure they're 184 pin, because that's what's compatible with your motherboard. Corsair is a pretty good company, but you can also look at these - all of them will work for you: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...170147+1052107965&ATTR5=&ATTR6=&ATTR8=&ATTR9=

That looks pretty good to me. I looked up reviews on it, and everyone has good things to say about it. =)

I only got 512 of crap DDR333 from my old PC as i ran out of cash when building this...It's severely slowing down my system so my Dad nicely said he'd get me some for sorting out a virus on his PC. Tis pretty cool!

...I ordered 1GB of this RAM:

Should work fine on my Asus A8N-E mobo right?

...I'm not intending to overclock but i need some more RAM, 1Gb probably isnt enough to feed my 3500+, but it'll be much improved!

Thanks again for the help guys!
