Benchmark's of the quad sli!!!

wel lthe 7900gtx and 1900xtx are pretty evenly matched overall, but they still kick each other's asses at certain things, which will make them better in some cases, and not in others. the point is that the quad-sli is even too much for crazy overclocking money wasting gamers to buy, and maybe thats why its not out yet (or is it).
it seems nvidia is not revealing all its cards yet and just made a lame attempt to stay in the competition ati with its 7900gtx. the trend so far was that as soon as ati would release something good, nvidia would release something great. not the case with the 1900xtx. the 1900xtx shows a lot more of an improvement from the x1800xt

I agree with you, and yes quade sli is ouot at the price of 1600.00USD, and im tellin ya if i had the money i would def get it!

Lol, thats such a waste. Look funky though hahaha. NVIDIA are alright least they alright if you going for the mid range gfx cards for the top ATi are teh winnahz!

Benchmarks say other wise.....at high res, sure nvidia loses at 1024x768 but for people who want to play 1224x1024 amd 1600x1200 nvidia is the way to go

only for somethings, which brings us back to the point that they are evenly matched so stop trying to hold onto some precious thought that one is the best video card ever...

haha! Stupid NVIDIA!!! It takes FOUR of those 7900GTX's to beat TWO X1900XTX's. Wow, just goes to show that the 7900GTX is a waste of money. It's just a 7800GTX 512MB just overclocked a little bit. Guys, don't buy a 7900GTX, save your money, buy a new ATI card probably coming out in 2 months.

Actually. The new 7900 that is shipping to my local PC Club (www.pcclub.com) is going to either be on par or out preform the 7800GTX that is 470, and the 7900 will be 300. "ATi had their two months of fame" -Josh from PC Club. It is a completely different GPU style that will get nVidia back on top. kkthx.

Oh my gosh people! Will you take the time to read benchmarks! The 7900GTX DOES NOT beat the X1900XTX. You guys are focusing way to much on SLI and CrossFire, guys, it's crap and unrealistic unless you're using lower-end cards. The X1900XTX beats the 7900GTX flat out. Want proof, here you go.

Hmmm....the 7900GTX loses in EVERY benchmark when compared to its competitor, the X1900XTX. So, sorry to break all your guys's hearts but, the 7900GTX loses in EVERY benchmark. Why? Because it has no new technologies when compared to the X1900XTX. It's just a 7800GTX with more memory and using way less transistors. Why do you think the thing vost so much less to make? It's because it uses so much less material then the 7800GTX 512MB.

So guys, for craps sake, accep tthe fact that the 7900GTX is just a piece of crap compared to it's predocessor, the 7800GTX 512<B, and it's competitor, the X1900XTX. It loses, flat out, in everything. So, when somethign loses that much, what can we conclude? It's a of loser. Plain and simple folks. Accept it, embrace it. And move on.

Yeah but you did mention this.. I mean here were looking at benchmakrs (CF'd and SLI'd) that we normal people will never get.

More realisticly is owning a single card of these. Their the best cards of their kind.. We would be lucky to own one. So really the bickering about the SLI and CF versions is useless.. because we will never own it.. Although the single cards performing against each other is alot more realistic for us. So thats something to argue about. And unarguably ATI wins...
