Opteron vs. FX-60

Perhaps Opteron one on one against FX-60, would lose...

...but is it possible to have two FX-60's in one rig, as motherboards today support two Opterons?

So basically, I need to see if there are motherboards out there on newegg that can support either two Opterons, or two FX-60's.

yeah, tyan makes boards that support 2 or even 4 processors. not sure about s939 tho, i think they may just be for s940

Are those even available on newegg? I looked at so many manufacturing sites, and nada.

the only company i've ever seen that does that is Tyan.. and it was for s940...

Just out of curiosity, why would you need that much power?

Heh, it would be overkill. There is simply no reason to have that much power.. other than extreme multitasking, I don't think that power can be harnessed at all.
