sli, needed of not

The 7600gt IS better than the 6800GS. So if thats the queston, get the 7600gt. But i would say a 7800gt. I will perform better than 2 6800GSs in SLI.

u underestimate the 6800GS, theres no way a 7800gt is better than 2 of them, if u want a good card that will last a fair amount of time then go for a card in the 7*** series otherwise go for the 6800GS and it will last at least a year

Do note though gaming_freak, that not all games work on SLI, and most never perform double the performance when turned on.

This makes recommending SLI to every user unworthy, though having the capability is fine, but saying 2x 6800 will beat a single 7800 is a bit much, considering the above.

Yet, I'm sure in some situations it some what would be.
