crossfire question

when you CFire 2 x1600's, do they run at the speed of the slower one?

-if one has a mem clock of 500mhz and the other has 600mhz, do they both run at 500mhz?
-if one has ddr2 and the other has gddr3, do they run at speeds of ddr2?
-if one has 512mb and the other has 256mb, do they both run at 256mb each?

Your using both cards.. So the speed is combined. I think..

I don't think that the faster card reduces it's speed.
I don't think this is even happening with SLI, and I think that with Cfire u can have 2 different kinds of vid cards, so if the faster one would slow down to the speeds of the slower one then this feature would be almost useless.
