Hey people,

I'm looking into the HomePlug system, and have found a good deal. But whether I buy it nor not depends on something I don't know; which is where I hope you guys can help me. Im looking to connect my upstairs PC to my downstairs one via HomePlug, because the wireless signal is very weak upstairs. The thing is, the upstairs electrical circuits and downstairs electrical circuits arn't on the same ring, meaning they're only linked by the main fuse box.

Would this be a problem, or can I still use HomePlug to link my upstairs and downstairs computers?

i dont know .. but you could have 2 wirless routers one up and one down

Thanks for suggestion mate, but I still really need to know whether HomePlug will work before I look at other methods.
