Hi. I just set up my new computer. I have an Asus A8V motherboard with the onboard Yukon Gigabit NIC. Internet is working and everything but when I go to configuration I don't have an option for 1000MBs. The max option is 100MB full duplex. I have the latest drivers and everything. Is there a reason why I'm not having that option? Will it even make a difference with a cable internet connection? Thanks in advance.

no it wont make any difference unless you have gigabit internet, and if you did have that, please share! :D

Yes, please share with us if you have a gigabit internet connection, we WILL all come over for a LAN party if you do....

Back to the topic: If you only have a 100Bit connecion, evan if you were to enable the gigabit connection, you would not see a difference.

Nope. Usage of OC3 connections is when you can enable 1000MBPS

On the other hand, I think you cannot enable it because of your connection.
