to be honest, why do you need quad sli? Are you really going to shell out 2000 dollars for video cards alone? I wouldnt expect so. So really, just get a DFI SLI-DR Expert.

From the looks of it, Quad Sli is ran in regualr SLI mode. So any mobo that supports SLI mode should be able to do quad sli. I could be wrong though. It looks like quad sli is two video cards on one fixture which means you only need 2 x16 slots, right? Tell me I am wrong.

Quad SLI is stupid. It's powerful, obviously, but it's such a waste of money and you'll hardly use all of that power.

That alienware computer is pointless, absolutly pointless. If your going to spend six grand on a computer, your going to want it to last a good few years. But that system is going to be able to play the latest games in all there glory for only like 10 months. Becuase the 7900gtx doesnt support directx 10 and shader model 4. Anyone that wants to upgrade, wait for socket AM2 and the nvidia G80 series and youll be MUCH happier.
