Help making your own computer

yes a 2000mhz amd would be better than a 3GHz P4, the reason is because amd cpus do more per clock than an intel which makes them perfect for gaming, u should have a look at ASUS amd motherboards and some amd cpus, i recommend the 3500+ but if u dont have the money go for the 3200+, as for graphics card make sure u get a motherboard with a pci-e slot and an evga 6800gs, i noticed u picked an agp before, agp is outdated and pci-e is now the way to go, so check all that out and tell us what u pick.
Yea go with his advice get AMD and dont go for AGP its kinda olda

yeh 800 isnt that much, go with a amd 3200+ and get a artic freezer cooler pro and over clock it to a 3500+, that would probably save u $40.

ok get an evga 6600gt instead, get an asus motherboard as they are much better than biostar and get an sata2 hard drive, not an ide drive, oh and get it all from newegg, theyre the best place to order from if you're ordering from america, once u do all that you're good to go lol

looks good mate!! only problem could be the power supply, its ok at the moment but if u install a 2nd graphics card in the future. the psu could maybe be on the weak side.

look for a new case with a 475w or higher psu, preferably 500w psu. then ur sorted with a v.good gaming rig
