im returning some ram i bought today and i was thinking of getting a new hard drive while i was down at the comp store, i currently have a seagate sata drive and i want to get a seagate sata2 drive, are they much faster? or will i just be wasting my money?

Personly i rekon just a wast of money.

I am sure there would be some difference but not a whole lot.

lol Who just goes down the shop and just bies a HD -.-'' lol

Eh, you should just stick with ur sata hd. The sata2 hd might be faster, but then you'd have to transfer all your files and programs from ur old hd to your new one. It just doesnt seem worth the effort.

Why would he have to transfer all his files, you can have just have it as a slave. I dont think you will notice the difference.

Yeah SATA2...not worth the upgrade from what you got, but a Raptor 10000rpm SATA2 might be worth it lol....but then the expense...meh
