Core Duo or any mobile processors won't work with any conventional motherboard unless you get the ASUS adapter or something.

These are standard Socket 478 CPUs.

Nope. Newegg typo. All mobile processors (Yonah, Dothan etc.) are Socket 479. Also, Core Solo and Duo have different pin configurations than Dothan.
