Hooking Computer to TV RCA 52' Projection TV

Ummm well I apologize for not understanding alot of technical terms and abbrev's

But what i think I understand is my cable may not work!!

I guess the entire hook up will help out as well.

1.I have a plug that converts sound plug from comp to an rca plug

2. I then use rca and run cable to my surround sound with no connectionj to tv!

3. I plug my S-Video cable into video card and run into back of tv input 2.

The sound works fine from RCA cables

The Picture comes on screen

PROBLEM

The Picture is only in Black and white

You may find this is because the signal is being passed out at 60hz, and your TV might not be able to cope with this.

In your video card settings, is there a TV output setting?

at 52 inch is should have a signal of at least 60Hz, mess around with the settings on your actual tv, and then on the video card settings.

Check on the second monitor. It may just be a color setting.

Just curious , what do you guys do with a 52' projection TV' thats bigger than the old outdoor theatre screens. Think you might mean 52".You can tell I'm bored and just nit picking.
